- mtmail 6y agoI think the title already got corrected. Billion means 10^9 or 10^12 depending on language, similar with trillion https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Billion https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Billion A non-native english speaker can easily make that mistake.
- zepto 6y agoThis is really a false headline. The covid relief package is being racked on to a normal government spending bill that is funding the military in the normal way. The whole tweet thread is misleading. Government priorities may be messed up, but this isn’t some nefarious trick.
