- vincebowdren 6y agoI'm intrigued here. It clearly isn't the work of script-kiddie-type hackers, because of the research required and the subtlety of the phishing emails. But equally, it does require some thorough-going technical competence – particularly to have got away with it for so long – so it's hard to believe that it's simply an unscrupulous insider/agent/scout within the publishing industry.
- anarbadalov 6y agoDitto. And i find the shade thrown at short story writers particularly funny: “But short story collections and works by little-known debut writers have been attacked as well, even though they would have no obvious value.”
