Russia’s space chief cannot seem to get “gentle” SpaceX out of his mind
- stringVal0 6y agoStrikes me as a modern interpretation of the age old "US brought pens to space, Russia brought pencils" debacle. As the article states, we don't have to brave it because we out-smarted that situation. In no way does their environmental condition prove intergalactic superiority.
- stevespang 6y agoReminds me of the movie Armageddon - - Russian cosmonaut with hammer, this is how Russian fix things ! Russian mentality has always been about who can drink more and still stand up, who has the bigger tank, rocket, device, etc. Old school macho style.
- xxel 6y agoYes righ, space-x rocket can return. Russian rocketa can not return but can lift more heavy cargo up to space. And if space-x rocket will not return and will be lost somewhere. So can space-x team work outside at -52°C or not?. That was the question of that Russian - about warm chairs.
- stevespang 6y agoAhhhh Rogozin, a mere puppet of forgone Soviet enterprises. None of us have forgotten how Russians spit on Elon Musk in 2001 on his visit to Moscow. Cantrell was there to witness and confirm such crude behavior by the Russian team. And now Elon Musks revenge is stealing all business away from Roscosmos. Nobody cares if the Russians build bigger rockets, let them rot in their silos just like the Buran spaceplane rots in Baikonur.
