I, like my father, of course use some stuff made in China since for several things there are literally no other choice.
But regarding masks, I live in Sweden and basically no one here wears a mask, including my father. Both me and my father have been isolated of course but there is really no need for him to wear a mask. We shop online and otherwise only meet people from our own family.
I work from home and he closed his company and went retired this year. I guess the joke is on you my friend.

Didn't the Swedish gov and even the king declared they fucked up big time like last week ? Sweden's covid handling is a total failure: https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/sweden/ https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/sweden/ https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/norway/ https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/norway/ https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/finland/ https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/finland/
- dagw 6y agoDidn't the Swedish gov and even the king declared they fucked up big time like last week? That was related to how they handled old people and care homes. The Swedish government still firmly believes that general mask use is at best unnecessary.
- staticelf 6y agoYes and I agree with the king. A note here is that neither me or my father meet other people. We both use hand sanitizers when we absolutely have to go out and we both live in houses with no other people nearby. Sweden is not like your typical big american city, a lot of swedes live in houses with gardens and of course a lot of us also live in apartments in a city but that is not me and it is not my father. If it were, we would both be wearing masks.
- howtofly 6y agoI believe your description is quite typical in Sweden, which explains why the fight against covid-19 there is a total failure. Wearing masks is not only about protecting yourself, but also about protecting people you meet. I think wearing masks are nearly all about protecting other people, unless you have N95 and replace them regularly. It seems that I had made a wrong guess from this common sense, which obvious doesn't hold true in Sweden. If it were a joke, it's not funny.
- staticelf 6y agoWell I think people should wear a mask, but neither me or my father meet other people. We cancelled christmas and for me it's just me and my gf with no other people, not even the closest family. Don't worry, we're taking it more serious than most of the country.
