TL;DR: The differences are detectable but not huge. If you eat plenty of rice, it's plausibly worth the upgrade but it's not life changing.
- bonniemuffin 6y agoOne key factor is the kind of rice. In my experience, the difference in brown rice is bigger than in white rice, so if you usually eat brown rice, you'll get more benefit from upgrading to a Zojirushi rice cooker. It's easy to make good-enough white rice, but making good brown rice is hard.
