- aksss 6y agoAn idiom rather than a word, but that’s exactly it. “Lilly-gilding”, then, might be the “word” that meets the requirements.
- GavinMcG 6y agoNah, that means adding unnecessary adornment. "Gilding" is explicitly about form. It would be a stretch to use that for a change that worsens something's substance.
