If you really want to understand why Arm was so successful as a company I'd suggesting spending time listening to their their first CEO - Robin Saxby - in this engaging interview by Charbax from 2017.

And they are unlikely winners not because they came from the UK (seriously?) but because of the weakness of their commercial position when they started. It's a really interesting story.
- contingencies 6y agoCan anyone recommend a straightforward way (eg. plugin, command line tool) to convert a Youtube link in to a skimmable transcript using the subtitles?
- terramex 6y agoThis video has no auto-subtitles, but in general if a video has them then click on the 3 dots next to 'Share' and click 'Open transcript' for full transcript with clickable timestamps. For more "straightforward", CMD way: youtube-dl --skip-download --write-auto-sub --write-sub [video_url] You can get youtube-dl from most package managers.
