- whythisnotthat 6y agoInteresting, "lotska" is used in the source from the British Medical Journal from 1900 as linked in another comment, probably a translation from "liozhka". Sadly "A Practice closely akin to hibernation is said to be general among Russian peasants in the Pskov Government" seems to be all we have as of now for validation
