It’s because you didn’t read the article. Residents are doctors in training, not just people living there - and they are interacting with sick people.
- jtbayly 6y agoI’m fully aware of what a resident is, which is why I assumed that nearly all of them are young. Mostly they are under 30 because they just finished medical school.
