- SlipperySlope 6y agoAs a full stack developer, I need to run the server side components on my development workstation. Not specifically interested in M1, but its obvious that ARM (Graviton2 and successors) is going to be cheaper for the AWS stack I run. So I am looking for an ARM workstation at 8 or 16 GB RAM minimum to learn more about Ubuntu on ARM. Sent my Red Hat son an M1 Air for Christmas as I believe what the author says about M1 performance and utility.
