I have little buckets that I fill up over time and I eventually get to see these buckets fill up over time. I just keep on saying: it gets easier with time, just keep filling the buckets. The buckets are of course a metaphor for different projects I have going on in my daily life. Most love their 'quick wins' and short term goals, I love my marathon.
