For a tiny portion of the population, a common food product is a low grade toxin.
10% have the genetics, 1% have Celiac - although that number is rising with awareness.
- Miner49er 6y agoNot just with awareness, it is rising in general. It's not just that we are better at finding it, it's that it is actually increasing too.
- thrower123 6y agoI suspect the prevalence is also rising because people don't just sicken and die mysteriously, because they can't eat the food that makes up 75% of their calories, due to Celiac now.
