I'd bet that this graph is actually reflecting the gap between the worth of the wealthy and the poor widening in America faster, due to the rarity of stimulus checks for people and the many accommodations for businesses. It's just that (due to a history of racist laws - many of which are still around) Black Americans tend to be in lower economic classes while Caucasians tend to be in higher classes.
I'd like to see the same statistics based on the students' parents' economic class - so the percent of the average test score for schools where the majority of the students are in the economic lower class, middle class, and upper class.
