- forestwisp 6y agoMight be true, don't forget for a minute that Apple is just as much "a horrible company, run by horrible humans." Nevertheless, Apple doing this because they want to increase their profits from AppStore purchases is definitely a good thing for end user privacy so it's a good conclusion.
- cwhiz 6y agoThere is nothing stopping any app developer from displaying non-targeted advertising. And there is no evidence to support the idea that targeted advertising is actually more effective.
