If you where to write about this in more detail I would certainly read it (hint hint). I have been toying with a similar idea. Alpine Linux might also be an interesting OS for something like this.
- Yaggo 6y agoI definitely should! The software situation for Rpi4 is a bit messy, because of ongoing 32->64bit transition, but not all stuff works there yet with mainline kernel. (From a hobby perspective it's a bit sad that some of the older APIs such as dispmanx/openvg are being phased out IIRC, because those are extremely powerful and useful for embedded-style applications, i.e. running something else than a destop.)
