It would be astounding if such a high profile account did not have two factor authentication automatically enabled/ allowing such a weak password. That’s a national security risk.
- Fjolsvith 6y agoYeah, almost as critical as using "solarwinds123" for a password.
- HillRat 6y agoIt’s astounding but not surprising that Trump (and the Trump WH) had a weak password and no MFA. It’s both astounding and surprising that Twitter didn’t enforce a stronger — or, indeed, entirely custom — authentication scheme for politically-sensitive accounts.
- rsynnott 6y agoNot sure about Trump's, which is apparently a special case, but normal blue-ticks have 2FA on by default... but they can turn it off.
