Most “Facebook Ads” are not delivered on Facebook. It is delivered through their Audience Network. I think their ability to track users on and within Facebook will be largely the same, but their ability to identify users while they are not using a Facebook owned property will be significantly impacted. I think digital advertising does not have to be bad, but it very much is. Unfortunately it will probably get worse before it gets better.
