  Equifax isn't just "still around". Their stock price is up nearly 50% from the day before their data breach crash.

      No one gets rich paying money to the little people. I don't think many people if any got paid. Perhaps some lawyers.

      No one got anywhere near $125; they prorated it by the number of checks requested. I’m not sure they even paid out the prorated amount.

  I thought about this too at first. But there is a difference. The victims of the Equifax hack were not their customers. But you might still be right.
