People are going to eventually be receiving vaccine doses at a CVS and Walmart though from what I understand. Not everyone is going to be expected to go to a hospital to get it.
- rolph 6y ago>>CVS or Walmart is not the place to be giving out this vaccine unless these criterion mentioned can be assured.<< >>a setting where intervention and physician oversight is available<< >>observation span post innoculum is 30 minutes<<
- tempsy 6y agothe article simply states they are recommendations not requirements.
- rolph 6y agorecommendation in the context of medicine is very different than the colloquial definition. a physician has professional lattitude regarding professional recommendations. These recomendations change dependent on observations, as is the case, first recommendation WAS 15 minutes observation , and has been modified to 30 minutes as a direct response to these reported incidents of adverse reaction. Recommendations have plasticity to change ad hoc, whereas requirements are not immediately mutable. if someone is going to administer this vaccine with no attendance and/or no support, that is gross negligence, and borders on absolute malpractice.
