Can anyone expound on the question of if the disposition of Oracle v. Google (concerning API copying) has any bearing for Octave vis-a-vis MATLAB?
- jcranmer 6y agoOracle winning would mean any project reimplementing another API would be at the mercy of the original authors' approval to be legal. I don't know how litigious Mathworks would be.
