- bluGill 6y agoPlenty of science fiction FTL is based on some [made up] loop hole that you can travel faster than light while time itself goes forward for all observers at the normal rate. Since we are talking about science fiction here you cannot ignore the above loop holes. If we were talking about the real universe as we know it, then of course you are right.
