While there is the usual backlash about billionaires doing charity work (blah blah why are there billionaires in the first place), I'd be more interested if there was a way to reconcile the impact they have with these gifts and the process by which they choose where and how to donate and see if some improvement can be made to the way the US handles social services. The PPP loans seem to be given out to a number of seemingly undeserving recipients [1] and I wonder if an improvement in methodology could help avoid that.
