Looks like they treat "opt in" data collection the same way they treat silent collection that's turned on by default?
This seems like a bad incentive, because there should be a benefit to being careful about opt-in.
- shuckles 6y agoBy law, all data collection must be opt-in, but that’s usually accomplished through privacy notices that nobody reads. I presume they had to deal with some complexity here as a result. The questionnaire is ambiguous enough as it is.
