Tough to give first time investment advice. You should invest for sure, but what to invest in is largely a matter of risk tolerance and expectations. Ark is much riskier than SPY (S&P 500 Index). My advice would be to invest in SPY and see how you feel after a few months. If you're not losing sleep and are comfortable with the ups and down maybe move into a more niche basket of positions, Ark being one of them.
