Adding Encrypted Group Calls to Signal

In related news, Cellebrite claimed last week that they've cracked Signal app data with their Physical Analyzer product: https://www.cellebrite.com/en/blog/cellebrites-new-solution-for-decrypting-the-signal-app/ https://www.cellebrite.com/en/blog/cellebrites-new-solution-... It's not entirely clear from their post what this actually means, and so far I have seen no acknowledgement or response from anyone representing Signal.
- sbinthree 6y agoIt provides a user the ability to see unencrypted message details on an unlocked phone. Similar to, you know, looking in the app and taking screenshots.
- stevespang 6y agoHey Signal people, you need to seriously address the claims by cellebrite - - otherwise, users are going to flee your app.
