PyTorch and NumPy make heavy use of SIMD for most tensor/ndarray operations.
- makapuf 6y agoWhen done on cpu ; the computation done on the gpu can be the majority for pytorch.
- umanwizard 6y agoIndeed -- but it's worth noting out that GPU code is closely analogous to SIMD, anyway. (And PyTorch can be and often is run on pure CPU.)
