I wonder what results the author would have had if they'd tried to debug a binary written in C or C++.
- chubot 6y agoYeah I think that's really the problem. Also, they're using Nix. I haven't had problems getting source locations to work with gdb console, Eclipse, or CLion on Ubuntu 16.04, debugging C++ binaries I built with a shell script.
