Hey, I've finished MVP of my slack application called Edited and would like to ask you what do you think about it.
A few words about this app:
This Slack application can display history of edited message in any direct/group channel it has been added to.
The main idea is provide access to all edit's history because sometime is contains valuable information and Slack does not provide this functionality.
All messages' history are encrypted and stored in a database.
Please check out Edited, install to your Slack workspace (it's free for, at least, 30 days) and let me know any feedback what do you think about this.
Trial period could be easily increased for any HN customers - just let me know here.
Thank you
- SheinhardtWigCo 6y agoIt feels deceptive to say “Get Edited for FREE” and “no credit card required” above the fold when it’s $19/mo with a 30 day trial. Also, I assume “Standart Plan” is a typo.
- _disc_ 6y agoThank you, really appreciate your feedback. Renamed to "Get started for free" and fixed a typo.
- codingdave 6y agoI find most edits to be typos, or other simple corrections. If someone has a business workflow where critical info is on something as ephemeral as Slack, and where history matters... Slack would be the wrong tool to begin with.
