Starting in the 1920’s, when music and theatre first became “memorialized” onto film and vinyl, entertainment culture seems to have entered a new era: one beyond our previous textual (theatrical) scripts and musical notation. They’ll surely be a third stage at some point, and our kids may yet see it!
