Anyone know the answer? If we can encase an rna sequence in a lipid envelope and get it into cells, why haven’t viruses ever evolved something like this? It seems like an easy run around the defenses of the cell?
- rolph 6y agothis is how natural virii function, not all but a whole family of them. some virii use a protien capsule others are actually a naked RNA strand. and yes it is the first run around of defenses, but there are a number of other hurdles.
