China tightens tech export rules; power to retaliate against foreign sanctions
- 1cvmask 6y agoThe Chinese are slow at catching up. Export and trade sanctions and embargoes have a long history as part of US foreign, pre-war and war policy. For example there was an oil embargo imposed on Japan from the US preventing oil from the US AND other countries before Pearl Harbor. Of course trade embargoes were imposed on the UK by Catholic Europe when the Church of England was established.
