The Case for a Time-Affluent Workplace Culture
- dane-pgp 6y agoJust as some have noted that "It's expensive to be poor", I would argue that in many cases it "It is time-expensive to be time-poor". When strapped for time, people make rushed, short-term decisions which end up costing more time to fix later. In fact, the two dynamics have some overlap, since poverty has been shown to reduce cognitive ability[0], and obviously having limited time can reduce the quality of one's analysis and decision-making.
