- danishdev 6y agoTexas isn't precisely poor. Sure, 20 years ago California was a magnet for startups, but that is apparently vanishing as the democrat curtain closes in. Also, I reply to the poster above, since "I am posting too fast" @jeffbee It's not how it works. In the last 30 years people have tended to clusters of population. Specially the most skilled and immigrants. The clusters of population in US are California, New York, Houston and Chicago, 3 of which are democrat. Thats how it started. Now 3 of these clusters will start decreasing, and one will grow. Guess which. The same story of urbanization happened in China, Japan, Europe, Russia, etc..
