Show HN: Hide your private photos, in plain sight
- dasveloper 6y agoScrambly lets you scramble your private photos into an unrecognizable state so that you can save or send them without anyone being able to see whats in the image. All you have to is enter the correct password and your photo will be restored to its original state. https://scrambly.vercel.app https://scrambly.vercel.app Photos are never uploaded out of the browser, but if you want more security it is open source so you can run it yourself locally: https://github.com/dasveloper/Scrambly https://github.com/dasveloper/Scrambly
- stakkur 6y agoI'd be interested to learn the details of the scrambling algorithm. Hopefully the answer is not "it's proprietary".
- dasveloper 6y agoNope not at all it's open source here! https://github.com/dasveloper/Scrambly https://github.com/dasveloper/Scrambly It's essentially just a Fisher-Yates shuffling algorithm.
