Deepfreeze basically starts before the os and returns the computer to a frozen state you defined. it's used in libraries and internet cafes and schools , and seem to work pretty well. This way you get: no support calls + better experience to family(apps, better privacy, known interface) + less risk and more control on the solutions you offer.
