Yeah, I remember people jailbreaking iOS 1 and installing various goodies. Then I remember getting an iPod Touch and a Mac Mini when (I think it was) iOS 2 came out add the SDK and app store so that I could try developing on their platform.
- colejohnson66 6y agoWell, it was technically going to be iPhone OS 1.2, but with the second beta, they changed it to 2.0. It didn’t become iOS until the iPhone 4 and version 4.0.
- xahrepap 6y agoSure... Also technically, I think they called it something different on the iPod Touch as well, if memory serves me right. :)
