Based on numbers I've seen, there are probably a lot of companies out there where I'd take 75% of what their devs are making today if it means I can be permanently remote. Probably 50% if I could move freely internationally. Now multiply that by how many people are eligible once you expand your hiring range from driving distance to national/international.
