it still cracks me up everytime I read it :D
- sjtindell 6y agoThis part got me. Would also add 1 user to say light is free as in speech and 1 to argue it’s free as in beer.
- mynameismonkey 6y agoOr maybe, 1 to argue light is free as in wave _and_ free as in particle.
- aidenn0 6y agoI always wanted to port a BSD userspace to Linux just so I could counter-correct someone who corrects me to GNU/Linux.
- Qub3d 6y agoBusybox or Toybox should cover that :D
- segfaultbuserr 6y agoAlpine Linux already does it, musl + busybox. Not BSD though. Nowadays I use "GNU/Linux" vs "Linux" to distinguish between an ordinary Linux distro (which comes with gcc, glibcs, coreutils, and all the other tools you expect) vs a minimum or embedded distro or system (OpenWrt, Android, Alpine, etc).
