I work at home. We have 4 kids from 4 to 13. My office is the dining room, so it is central. To add extra excitement we also home educate. Our kids have never been in a daycare or a school. I'm not a fan of either. That equated to many years of financial "hardship" and being down one income even when the other income was relatively small. We've since been able to "bootstrap" our ability to work and earn and having both of us at home is really a great experience overall. I wouldn't trade it.
