I work from home and have a 6 month old daughter. My wife looks after her full time though. I had to convert our garage so that I could lock myself away and actually do some work. If you're planning on working and looking after your child it won't happen. The only way it works for me is that my wife is there to support the family. However, if you can move back home then it's amazing to get 20 minute breaks and pop in to see your child. Breaks up the day nicely :)
