Most people know their weaknesses but refuse to admit them. The question though is whether the “deficiency” passes the threshold needed to become an actual problem. It’s trivial to find a fault in someone (anyone), blow it out of proportion, and tell a story about how it’s losing the company money — we are all human and imperfect. It is a dubious question then whether the boss has “at least something of a point,” it needs to be enough of an issue to actually matter, which most of the time it isn’t.
