Until they update the GDPR to prevent cookieless tracking.
- Semaphor 6y ago> Until they update the GDPR to prevent cookieless tracking. No need. Cookies are irrelevant, tracking is. Cookieless tracking already falls under the GDPR. This doesn’t seem to track users so it’s fine.
- OJFord 6y agoIt's already about tracking/storing/sharing PII; not about your technical implementation of that. It's just generally very narrowly interpreted as 'if you use cookies you need to plaster your site in a ridiculous banner and options menu'.
