Can't I just live as a shareholder in silicon valley, basing my limited company and shill directors in Alabama, and leasing the limited company software produced by my other company in California?
Requirements:
2 limited companies.
Licensing agreement.
Alabama-based Non-executive directors (cousin Ed and Chuck).

- hessenwolf 15y agoThe company in California produces software components. It is not involved in any financial transmissions whatsoever. That is my point.
- tptacek 15y agoThen as long as you don't transfer money in California, you're fine. If you do, you need a license. Note the part of the law that refers to the travel costs incurred to get an inspector to whatever part of the country you domicile the business-end of your business in.
