I taught myself to program and the top lessons you can learn from my story
- simonblack 6y agoI venture to say "we all taught ourselves how to program". True, classes and books and tutorials can teach you how to write proper syntax, but the nitty-gritty of the mindset of programming itself is something that you can only develop yourself. I consider programming as an art, more than a science. You can be taught the 'science' but not the 'art'. Similarly, a painter can be taught the techniques of painting and putting paint on a surface, but classes and tutorials will never be able to to teach him to be an 'Artist'.
