On a great day I can do about 6 hours of highly concentrated programming work. Most days is probably closer to 4 hours. If I'm tired, I will definitely not reach the 6 hours. So I really wonder who in their fucking mind would think that you can pull off 12 hour workdays and be more productive? That is just pure insanity. I think it's time to stop lying to ourselves on how many hours we are actually productive in the 'work hours' that we do.
