lsp mode has come a long way and that feels like i am embedding and ide inside of emacs. With dap mode I get a debugger too but I havent really gotten around to learning how to set that up.
- wool_gather 6y agoIt is extremely nice, but still feels a bit hemmed in by the "everything is a grid of characters" paradigm. Just a soupçon here and there of actual GUI elements (some kind of popover for LSP highlights, for example) would go a long way for making Emacs even better, IMO.
