Seems like a compelling sugar alternative. Though author may be confused about the glucose lowering mechanism, or at least I see no evidence allulose increases kidney glucose excretion. IMO the glucose lowering effect is via insulin response to non-metabolic sugar and a referenced study [1] also seems to talk about insulin not excretion.
