A reset css has the goal of eliminating browser inconsistencies so that you can then layer your css on top with consistent styling. That is, a reset css looks for inconsistencies between browser default styles and then makes a consistent choice.
The goal of this project is to improve the appearance of simple text websites, not reset or normalize.
- abhinav22 6y agoIt is splitting hairs, this is basically very similar to a normalization done. But I’m not going to enter into a debate on this. Reset is definitely a bad word to use here as reset does strip out all style selections.
