I agree with so much of this article, and yet, when I desperately needed a job at the start of this pandemic, LinkedIn was there for me. I got more interviews than I would have thought possible at a time when most companies were going into hardcore “wait and see” mode. I ended up getting a great job. So yeah, like for many folks, it feels like a very weird but essential place.
