There are no choices! I don't have to think about it.

It's about trade-offs. I love Android and making it mine. My wife cannot care less. The rest of my family cannot care less (7 people total), and blamed me when their SMS/MMS stopped working.
Sure Android is superior, maybe long-term it will win. For now: Apple knows their audience and hope to keep them happy. At the end of the day: is good enough
- mikelward 6y agoIt's not been my wife's experience. She got a Mac Mini 3 months ago. She loves Apple and hates Windows with a passion. She prefers macOS. But it doesn't sleep. Multi monitor configuration seems random. Boot is unnecessarily slow. Her mouse settings are too limited. There are many posts on Hacker News about how it's been getting worse for years.
- AuthorizedCust 6y agoFor years, it's felt like Apple has decreased its investment in Mac to support mobile efforts. The M1 may signal a change. We'll see.
